The History

Louis and Fremon grew up together in Greenlawn, New York. They met in fourth grade when Louis grabbed Fremon's drumsticks and ran down the hall of their elementary school with them. After a long chase through the hallways of their school, Fremon retrieved his sticks and a lifelong friendship began. Louis would perform for his classmates at their elementary school during recess and music class. He was known for jumping up on desktops and giving his classmates a wild rendition of "Heartbreak Hotel". Louis watched "The Monkees" and "The Donny and Marie Show" religiously and stared at his mother's Elvis Presley albums and listened relentlessly, memorizing every song. Fremon would practice on his drum set nonstop at home and daydream during classes about playing with the band "Chic".
The years went on and Fremon discovered football while Louis discovered
that playing bars before you were of legal age was pretty damn cool. Fremon was
scoring touchdowns and playing in the marching band while Louis was home after school
trying to figure out Led Zeppelin and George Benson licks. After high school, Louis
and Fremon were in their share of frustrating bands. Louis and Fremon both decided
to try alternate careers and they each made a life for themselves outside of the music
business. They kept on playing but they always found themselves in different bands, UNTIL NOW!!!
Louis and Fremon kept in touch as the years went on. Fremon was making a lot of contacts in and out of the music industry through his work with the Government, while Louis was teaching music at a middle school on Long Island. Fremon's friends convinced him to record a demo "to see what would happen". Fremon contacted Louis and talked about the idea of recording a CD together. Lou, who had already been writing songs in his spare time, was excited by the idea. So Lou went into the studio and recorded about twenty songs with a click track for Fremon and forwarded it to Fremon in Washington, DC. Later, Fremon came to New York and aced his drum parts (he had been practicing on pillows in his hotel rooms while traveling due to his job).
Lou and Fre hope that these songs will touch your heart in some way and help transcend the boundaries of your everyday life as it has theirs.
